Technology comes to Balboa Park

New computerized information will available soon for tourists and citizens of San Diego with all the Balboa Park information via kiosks that have been in the planning stages for over 10 years. Through private funding , Wi-Fi services will be also be available as the these new information kiosks will be one of the new hot spots in San Diego.
Three computerized kiosks located through the park will provide detailed information on all the museums, the gardens, retail shops, and the available restaurants in Balboa Park. The other featured services of these kiosks will include the ability of visitors to send an e-mail postcard from Balboa Park to friends and family wherever they may be and also to be able to access the Internet with its Wi-Fi Hot Spot capabilities. Have you ever heard of an Obese city?

A recent Forbes article said and I quote ” Once considered an affliction of the lazy and indulgent, obesity now affects about one-third of Americans, most of them in these cities….I have no intention here to name the cities on the worst list. This problem is endemic across America and though some areas could be highlighted, the point here is that we must all be aware of these issues and pointing out one area over another serves no purpose.
I have come to understand that as a society what we eat and how much is a serious factor in not only our health but in the health of our nation as a whole.
The health of your city and the obesity factors seem to be connected somewhere around the hip bone.

Graphic Designer interpreates Site to augment my marketing needs.

About a month ago, I made contact with a Graphics Designer that I met as a member of ActiveRain and asked her to interpret my site and help provide the graphics needed for marketing both myself and my new TheRealEstateTextBook blogsite.
I spoke to Sharon Leigh of the firm Sharons Graphic Reality about designing the individual pieces for me that included a business card, a Logo, e-mail stationary, Letterheads and Envelopes for printing.
I received my first finished piece yesterday and it so clearly defines her genius as a designer and shows her capability to create outside the box of the ordinary.
Here is the Business Card she designed as testimony of her talents. Needless to say I am very happy with it and when she asked me what I thought about it, the first words that came to mind were , It is Freaking Fabulous. I hope you like it as well!
You will be seeing much more of her talents as her artistry will be clearly evident in all my current and future marketing efforts. I am so delighted that I had the good fortune of meeting Sharon and I am proud to be able to recommend Sharon.
