Ricardo, Thank you for sharing that story about your Mom and your great benifactor. His kindness will always remembered and you are testimony to that same kindness.

Jason, You of course helped make that happen! Many Thanks. This past week as you may have read, Robert Bruss passed away and his column will be sorely missed. He was unique in the field and many of us relied on his great guidance.

Hi William,

Ricardo Bueno here from Active Rain; one of the distant admirers of your writing.

I love this story! This man's generosity is simply inspiring! There are a lot of great people out there.

My mother had melanoma cancer many years ago, (she successfully recovered), and a close friend (an old business partner) of hers always came to the rescue. He supported us financially if we were ever in need and he essentially looked after us. Not that he was obligated or anything. He simply did it out of the kindness of his heart. That's the best gift anyone could ever receive!

William - I too, think it would be wonderful to be wealthy enough to be extremely generous such as this person.
